Following the success of the First British Natural Eyesight Conference in which 46 people from 10 different countries gathered together at Hemel Hempstead, the 2nd Conference, at the same location,  was also very interesting, exciting and fresh,  as it explored a natural approach to children's eyesight from a Bates Method perspective. Lizzie May  told us all about Children and the Bates Method, Esther van der Werf gave a very active  workshop on Focus on Children’s Eyes - Dr Bates and Emily Liermann's legacy of vision work with the young ones and launched her new book on Bates; Meir Schneider had a whole day workshop together with Sonia Carrocine, from Brazil, and talked about Improving vision in children with congenital cataracts and other serious pathologies. Aileen Whiteford MSc worked on Supporting children with hyperopia (long-sight), strabismus (squint) and amblyopia (lazy eye) to grow with clear and well integrated eyesight. Sylvia Lakeland presented her experience of Special Vision Training for Kids in the Central Park in São Paulo and participants learned all about the toys she introduced in the Park. . Already with a large distribution, this Vision Exercises CD ( Movimento é Vida Series” - Movement is Life Series), has  since 2009 one more CD to add to the kit, also with great success in distribution: Posture Exercises to Improve Vision, used all over the Portuguese speaking countries, by all those who want to improve their vision in a natural way. Each CD is about one hour and it is now possible to follow, the basic vision exercises as sunning, swinging, shifting, patching and palming, in Portuguese. These CDs are very helpful instruments for those who want to train the eyes and body, losening head,neck and shoulders with good breathing and meditation with palming.
