Art of living with good vision - in Lisbon 25 October to 21 November 2010

An injured knee after an accident during my morming walk in São Paulo brought this programme to Portugal to a stand-bye past May. Now life starts again and the best time to be in Portugal will be 25 October and 21November, while I, as well, will be giving a lecture at the 2nd British Holistic Vision Conference, in Herdforshire, near London, from 29.10 to 2.11. 2010. Hopefully the visit will start October 25, in Lisbon with an intensive programme including lectures, holistic vision workshops and individual sessions with the always helpful Lisbon support of my partner Rita Jardim.

I am already well and let me remind you my basic survival formula, I apply also to my eyes and vision: to believe that the Universe always looks after me; to accept with joy and understanding what happens and do my best to react, with counsciousness and relaxation; perseverance and discipline following the routines: breathing, exercise, massage and good nutrients in the diet. My bones recuperated in record time, I am walking, doing all my exercises and swimming daily with no effort at all! One more experience confirming that we can and must transform realities, understand the systems network and be part of evolution. It is time for transformation and transcendence to a more harmonious world.

The 2010 Intensive Holistic Vision Seminar: Saturday, 13 November  2010

You can already book your participation at this intensive seminar! If you have vision problems such as pain and eye fatigue, computer stress, photophobia, myopia, presbyopia, astigmatism dry eyes, or even problems with  cataracts, glaucoma, macular degeneration, come over to Lisbon and discover once again your eyes. Adult participants of all ages are welcome. For those who have already enjoyed other vision workshops with Sylvia, this edition will include new subjects related to the connection body-eyes, balanced vision of both eyes, and body awareness, understanding the essential of Bates Method and Meir Schneider Self-Healing Method with exercises movement.

Programme: in a relaxed and happy atmosphere, we explore together the following topics: How can I improve naturally my vision?What says the Bates Method? Can Meir Schneider Self-HealingMethod help my vision? An initial evaluation! Movement is Life: let us move our bodies let us move our eyes. Vision exercises. During 22 years, Rita Jardim has been leading the Breathing Clinic, in Campo de Ourique, Lisbon. Not only a wonderful friend and excellent client, Rita is my partner for all of our natural vision activities in Portugal. Feelings, Emotions, Perception & Vision, in Portugal May-June 2008

Following the fantastic visit to Poland in 2008, all energy was required to cover the intense three weeks Programme for this year´s visit to Lisbon.  Five years of consecutive visits to Lisbon, always working together with my partner Rita Jardim, surely brings out the best of our work, total commitment and the really trusting relationship with public, clients and students! Full audiences at each lecture, with very participative people, all wanting indeed to understand how is it possible to improve vision with natural vision therapies.

The main subject of the lectures and Seminar was about Feelings, Emotions, Perception and Vision including natural vision improvement therapies, Bates and Meir Schneider Method, integrated medicine including quantum medicine and oriental therapeutic exercises in a package to help improve quality of life and vision. Our traditional workshop at Torre D”Aguilha, in Lisbon, with participants from all over Portugal, happened on a lovely summer Saturday and while covering all aspects of caring for our eyes and body, mind and spirit , we were aware of the importance of having always new exercises and support materials to enjoy, so it was fun discovering the new Eye-Tools charts, working with the pinholes glasses and most of all, witnessing the happy and relaxed eyes of all those who really decided to invest their time to take care of themselves and their vision!

With my large room with a view over Lisbon and full support at the Principe Real Hotel, were I always stay, the efficient location and support of Rita Jardim and our Center of Integrated Therapies in Lisbon, where our private sessions always take place and were we have a vision support group for the last three years, it was easy to carry out the programme and still spare a few days to visit Beira Baixa, the wonderful cheese region with exciting meals and wines, amazing villages such as Monsanto.

2008 was an important year to visit Portugal as we also realized that there was a momentum of growing interest in new aspects of vision training for the Portuguese specialized public so a new project has been already set up in association with APEC - Portuguese Association for Education of Blind. Suddenly Brasil started to react intensively to natural vision improvement with fantastic results but time consuming work, making it inevitable to delay Portugal to 2010. Discovering Visual Coherence, in Portugal May, October & November 2007

Since 2003 I return to Portugal for regular visits to my long lasting clients and friends. In 2007 I visited Lisbon in May and again in November. Both occasions were very exciting and I was received in all my intensive and very happy programme of lectures with full house, my agenda of private sessions was complete and my already traditional vision workshops were real success. 
Fifteen days of an extensive programme included natural vision improvement and body activities for all who wished to see me, from all over Europe as well as Portugal. Visual Coherence, quantum medicine, Meir Schneider Self-Healing Method and oriental therapeutic exercises were part of this programme for all participants.  From 31 October to 7 November I represented Brazil and Portugal at the 21st International Holistic Vision Conference where 170 participants had the opportunity to learn about the natural vision improvement of my clients in Portugal and Brazil.

Rita Jardim' Letter about Sylvia Lakeland in Lisbon

It is with great pleasure that I invite you all to meet Sylvia Lakeland in Lisbon . For those who do not know her, she is a Vision Therapist and someone who recuperated from serious vision problems by using as well Meir Schneider's Self-Healing Method.
